Sea Watch

Lonnise's birthday is this month, and we both sign up on many restaurant web sites for their Birthday Coupons.

Sea Watch sends you a $30 voucher (with very, very few limitations) to use during your month. Since Sea Watch is worth Full Price, we always take advantage when it is on sale.

It's nice to waltz in on a Monday night during the summer -- there's always plenty of tables and no wait. We asked for Barbara, our regular waitress, and we ordered our regular meals.

We both started with the Lobster Bisque... the Bowl for me and a Cup for Lonnise. I need to remember to take my real camera with me... these photos do not do the food justice.

For our main courses, I had the Paella -- a rice mix of clams, shrimp, mussels, chicken, sausage and fish, and Lonnise got her regular two Appetizers as a main course: Conch Fritters and Crab Cake.

Mine was as great as it always is, and Lonnise just rolled her eyes at how much she liked the Conch Fritters. She said that the Crab Cakes here are better than the ones at Council Oak. If I ever get her to Cap's Place, she won't believe what hit her.

That's all I ate today. In other news, my bobblehead doll showed up today. Here it is; Click on the arrow to see it bobble.

If you don't want to deal with the video, here's a pretty glorious picture of it.
