I WISH that I owned this place |
For 71 cents, it was both tasty and a good defense against going wild in the very expensive place.
Anyway, Jenny shows up more or less on time, looking as beautiful as ever. We catch up (she is in a Girl Group now, and they were on TV doing promotion and have their first two gigs booked), and finally we order.
We decided to split a Ceviche to start, but the waitress talks us into a combo with both Ceviche and a Causa.
A Causa is mashed Yellow Potatoes, seasoned and (in this case) rolled and filled with what we would call Crab Salad. I always like Causas, and they were easy to split (there were two), so this made a good first course.
For our main dishes, we both chose the Parihuela. This is the Seafood Soup that I am a big fan of. Jenny thought that was an excellent idea as well, and we went to town on the Soup.
That was it at Cevicheria Richard's. I disagree with Fernando... it wasn't more expensive than other Cevicherias of its quality. I do agree with him that it was Very Good. I will return, and try to get them to cut me into the profits. Here's one of me & Jenny. She likes getting her picture taken even more than I like taking pictures!
