Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

I started the day by eating 4 Plumbs.

For lunch, I had a package of Hormel Turkey Breast with Mustard as Roll-Ups. I could have sworn that I took a photo of it, but apparently I didn't. I think it was a 10 ounce package, but without the photo, I'm not certain.

Later in the day, Watermelon and then more Watermelon.

I went to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza on US1 in Pompano for Dinner. They used to have just the one store by SE 17th Street, but now they're all over the place. I'm not sure that the charm remains the same; I'm sure that the service doesn't.

My Appetizer was a small order of meatballs.

They were good. I enjoyed them. It's even better when you add a little Ricotta Cheese to each bite. I wound up dippng/sopping one of the slices of the bread in the Tomato Sauce.

They are almost as famous for their Chicken Wings as they are for their Pizza. I ordered a large order of Wings.
There's Wings under them Onions!
These babies are quick-baked in their million degree brick ovens. My problem was that they were quick baked a long time before they were brought to my table. That didn't stop me from eating them, however.

Maybe they grew too fast and can't control the service, maybe I am spoiled by the original Anthony's downtown, or maybe I am just spoiled, but my Dining Experience t this store wasn't one that I will be re-visiting any time soon.

That was it for the night.
