Friday: Football and Music

My original plan was to eat very little, and certainly not pay anyone for food today, other than a supermarket. Well, that didn't happen.

I started with a Bowl of Watermelon, and it was so good, I had another Bowl of Watermelon.

Ed was going to take me & Larry out for Lunch. Apparently, the words, "No, thank you" are not in my vocabulary. We got in his car, drove to the restaurant, and he announced that it was an evil trick, and he had plans with someone else for Lunch, and drove us back to work and dropped us off.

That was my chance to Get Back on Track.

Rich: Hey... we were already going out... we have cars and money... let's go somewhere.

Larry: OK, sounds good.

So we wound up at Sweet Tomatoes.

I filled one plate with different Greens, and then topped it with Mushrooms, Broccoli, Cucumbers and some Chopped Egg. I put some Peperocinis, Pickles, other Pickles, hot Peppers and diced Tomatoes on another plate, and added a bowl of Minestrone Soup.

The dressing was Basalmic Vinegar. It was all pretty good, and I topped it off with another Bowl of Soup.

OK, not bad. I wasn't going to do anything but watch the Dolphins at night, but then James texted me that there was a band playing at a bar in Hollywood, and he thought that I might like them.

So there's me & Lonnise at the Goal Line Sports Bar & Grill in Hollywood, watching Groove Percussions AND the Dolphin game.

They were really good. They did covers of lots of songs that I knew the words to, so I was happy. They were a little too loud for a bar that size, but that comes with the territory. If I was having a party, I would hire them; they were having as good a time playing as we were listening.

I had 16 Grilled Wings with Garlic in Medium Sauce. Lonnise had Grilled Shrimp tossed in Buffalo Sauce, and one of my Wings.

We stayed until the end of the first set. When I got home, I had another Bowl of Watermelon, and then played on the internet all night until I fell asleep. The Dolphins won.
