Restaurante Sin Reservas

In Spanish, "Sin Reservas" means "Without Reservations." I had a reservation at Sin Reservas on Monday night. Go Figure.

Sin Reservas is  a Neighborhood Joint. A really nice Neighborhood Joint, but that's what it is. If I lived in Jesus Maria, I would eat here all the time.

What I'm really good at here in Lima is Ordering Too many Dishes. I chose three of them here.

I started with a Rocoto Relleno.

This spicy Stuffed Pepper was spicy and stuffed with Meat and other stuff and covered in a cheesy sauce. The stuff on the plate that isn't a Pepper are Potato slices. Really good.

Next I ordered the Sopa Criolla.

This was the Star of the Show. I will go back here for this Soup, even though I am hardly ever in this neighborhood. The broth was delicious, and there was some Meat and Vegetables and Noodles going on in there, too. That was all pretty good. But the broth was awesome.

Last up, Lomo Saltado.

This is the classic Stir-Fry. It just did not hold up, as compared to my first two dishes. There was noithing wrong with it; it just wasn't as good as the other stuff. I finished most of the meat, half of the potatoes and half of the rice.
