I have so much to do before I leave, you guys get less words and more photos.
Tuesday, March 11
A Bowl of Watermelon.
At the office, Val had Baby Carrots. She gave me three.
A container of Blackberries. They weren't that great.
I nuked up some more of the On-Sale Asparagus. John had some.
Another Bowl of Watermelon.
Loretta and I went to Dinner at The Rustic Inn Crab House. I had a coupon. Loretta was excited.
For Appetizers, I had a Bowl of Red Clam Chowder, and we split an order of Fried Calamari. They were both pretty good.
After that, we were both ready for Dinner. We ordered the Lobster Fra Diavlo. It's Big Enough for two.
It has a Lobster, Crab Shrimp, Clams and Mussels. Loretta asked for White Clam Sauce. I would have preferred Red Sauce because the White is pretty Oily, but at this point, what could I say.
We each had our half of the Seafood, and there was plenty of Spaghetti left over, even though we both tried.
Here's my steps for the day.
Wednesday, March 12
I was busy all morning and didn't eat anything until I nuked the final On-Sale Asparagus at around 2 pm.
Then at 4:00, I cut up a Pineapple, and Racquel and Julian helped me polish it off. Like I needed any help.
It's Julian's Blog debut. Let's all give him a warm welcome.
Lonnise picked me up and we went to the Noodle House for Soup before heading to Jim & Kiera's house for a while.
I had Pho with Duck (I love Duck) and Pork, and Lonnnise had her standard with Shrimp and Pork.
At Jim & Kiera's, we got a surprise.
Jay brought some Home-Smoked Mackerel (smoked in his own home). Jim just photobombed. It's both of their Blog Debuts, too... a big day!
The Fish was excellent, and I had some, but I was full from the Soup.
Around 11:00, I was regretting not having more Mackerel because I was hungry. I wound up sauteing the rest of thr Bok Chok that was in the refrigerator with Black Bean Sauce and a few Pearl Onions. That did the trick. Notice how much the Bok Choy cooks down.
That's it. I leave for Lima tomorrow evening, so the Blog should get more interesting fairly soon. I have a reservation at the recently re-opened Astrid y Gaston for one night, and a couple of other new (to me) places as well. Astrid y Gaston is rated the 14th best restaurant in the world, so it should be a treat.
Here's my steps for Wednesday.
