Yes, I love Duck... In Spanish: Yo amo Pato. Sadly, I ate no Duck today.
I started the day with the leftover Turkey Necks from Thursday.
Turkey Necks are just cheap and delicious, they're filling, especially when you have them with the Turkey Neck Soup. I was doing fine for a long time afterwards.
I signed up to volunteer at the Kids in Distress Duckfest Derby. I love Duck. When Lonnise wasn't looking, I signed her up, too. She's a good sport, so off we went.
We got there, walked around, greeted people, and took wacky photos. There were a LOT of rubber Ducks there for the race.
We volunteered for a while, and then we headed down to Hollywood to eat Soup at Pho 79 and I got to stock up on Vegetables at Foodtown.
My Soup had Brisket and Roast Beef. That REALLY filled me up for the day.
I met up with Ed and Austin at the Coconut Creek Casino later that night for a 3-hour Blackjack session. We found the non-smoking tables, otherwise we just wouldn't have played. I'm glad we did... I won around $300.
Around midnight, we retired to the Deli in the casino. Ed and Austin had Burgers, and I had most of the Pickle Plate, just to be polite. I was still full.
The photo of Ed came out all blurry. Here's my steps for the day.
