No Leprechauns were hurt in the creation of this post.
I started the day with the leftover Tamale Sandwich from Sunday. It nuked up well; I wasn't sure.
My daytime travels took me to Lince, so I made a pit stop at FishIto Ceviche Factory on Av. Ignacio Merino. I had been there once before and hadn't been overwhelmed. But everything that came out of the kitchen except my food looked great, so maybe it was just bad ordering on my part.
I'm in Peru, so I Order Too Much. I started with a Leche de Tigre and also a Papa Rellena de Mariscos con Ceviche.
For my Main Course, I had the Tacu Tacu with Pescado Saltado.
It was delicious and Enough to Kill Me. I left over just a bite or two.
After that, I waddled over to a Turkish Bath to sweat out some of the Cebiche, and to just rest up.
I was meeting some friends in the evening. I got to the meeting point early, and a woman was selling Chocotejas on the street. In a fit of insanity, I bought one.
Because, after all, Chocolate wrapped around Chocolate is just what was missing from my Food Regimen.
We wound up at T'anta in Surco. We started with Croquettas de Aji de Gallina.
I had half; they were excellent.
For my Main Course, I had a dish called Paella Chola.
This was Rice with just about the entire kitchen sink thrown into it, in an almost-sauce that was Tomato-based. Need I say it: It was delicious.
Later, the insanity continued, and I had about a dozen Peanut M&Ms.
They're gone from the house now.
Here's my steps for the day.
