I didn't eat much today.
I had two Hard Boiled Eggs at around 1:00.
Then I went to Jim's house to watch the Dolphin game. They won, in dramatic fashion.
Jim lives in Coral Springs, so when I left, I drove to Lima 51 on Sample Road. They were closed.
Undaunted, I continued driving. When I got close to home, I remembered the Salvadorian place that Lonnise and I went to a couple of weeks ago. They were still open, and I get to practice my Spanish.
One of their Blackboard Specials was Conchas Negras. These make up one of my favorite dishes in Peru, so I decided to give it a whirl.
This wasn't really like they make it back 'home', but it was tasty. Conchas Negras are Black Clams. This was in a Lime/Worcestershire-based sauce, with cut up Onions, Tomatoes, and Cilantro. I liked it, but it lacked the hotness that I am used to.
I then ordered the smaller version of their Seafood Soup, that they call Mariscada.
I finished the bowl, using just a couple of spoonfuls of the Rice, and none of the Tortilla.
That was it for the day.
