I dove right into Friday with a bunch of Frozen Grapes.
That wasn't quite enough; I was just hungry all day. At 11:15, I got in the car and drove to Boston Market for Chicken Noodle Soup.
I love Boston Market's Soup. Hell, I love all Soup, but this one is really good. It's full of stuff, and I don't think it has a lot of salt. And, for $4, they give you all the bowls you want.
I had mentioned to Vivian once that I never seem to lose weight the weeks that I have Boston Market Soup. She suggested that the problem might be that pesky 4th Bowl of Soup. So today, I had five of them!
I was full, but still was dying to put more food in my mouth. Back in the office, I had two Hard Boiled Eggs.
At home, just a handful of Grapes, then I was off to the Galleria Mall to return something.
Dillards was having a sale, so I would up with a pair of pants, a pair of shorts and seven shirts, all for just $101. So much for returning something and leaving with money.
Retail therapy didn't help; I was still hungry. I was walking to the Capital Grill to sit in the bar area and have an order of Fried Calamari (it's really, REALLY good there) when I realized that I would just inhale it without tasting, and that's not the way I want to enjoy a rare fried treat.
So I went to the food court instead. The prettiest girl was in the Chicken Department, so I asked her for a Chicken.
GIRL: A Chicken?
ME: Yes, please.
GIRL: A WHOLE Chicken?
ME: Si. Un Pollo entero, por favor. Tengo hambre (I'm hungry).
GIRL: OK
I had a Chicken, with Hot Sauce. As Chickens go, it wasn't the largest bird ever, but it was big enough. I met my friends later and watched them eat Dinner, and when I went home, I didn't eat anything further.
So, Friday was Chicken-Rific. I planning on Wings for the Alabama game today, so it may be a Chicken-Rific Weekend, who knows?
