Somehow, Sergio roped me into buying him dinner last night. I was going to let him pick, but I didn't want to eat at Applebees, so we wound up at Texas de Brazil, over by the Galleria Mall.
They have a huge Salad Bar with lots of non-salad stuff, and then they parade meat to your table, and carve it for you until you have beef oozing out of your pores.
It was Sergio's first time there, and my 907094th. It was the last thing that I needed after my cruise this weekend. I ate stuff that didn't have pictures, and I took pictures of stuff that I didn't eat, but I will do my best to report accurately.
From the Salad Bar:
Salami, Roasted Garlic, Grilled Provolone, Baked Salmon, Shrimp Salad, Grilled Jalapeno, Lobster Bisque, more Shrimp Salad, more Baked Salmon. NOT PICTURED: Asparagus. Big freaking Asparagus.
There was (and we ate, in no particular order): Pork Ribs, Filet Mignon, Top Sirloin, Parmesan-Crusted Pork, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, Beef & Pork Sausage, Chicken Sausage, Filet wrapped in Bacon, Lamb Chops, Leg of Lamb, this Big Old Hunk of Beef, and Other Stuff. The only thing that I had twice was the Filet Mignon... it was good, go figure.
I had more pictures, but they came out crappy.
That was all I ate for the day, but it seemed to be plenty.
EDIT 2 PM: here's Sergio posing with a Sword Dude.
