I woke up at 4 in the morning, and I was starving. I tried
to go back to sleep, but that didn't work. So I ate the grapes. That helped,
and I went back to bed until they came with my Room Service Wake Up Fruit.
It was remarkably similar to yesterday's Room Service Wake
Up Fruit, but today's also had a Banana.
After that, I went upstairs for Breakfast (yes, Viv...Breakfast!!!).
I had the Omelet Guy make me an Egg White Vegetable Omelet.
I have no idea how many Egg Whites it was (he had it all
egg-whited all ready). It had Onions, Tomatoes, diced Peppers, Mushrooms, more
Mushrooms, and Spinach. I added two slices of Wheat Toast and some Home Fries
for a delicious 9-point meal.
After Breakfast, I did six laps on the Promenade Deck. BIG NEWS: I jogged one lap. This is the first time I have ran in, I don't know, 40 years. I didn't die, but I jiggled a lot.
We went into Nassau for a little while in the morning.
Walked around, bought coffee, walked around some more. Then we came back to the
boat.
I went up to the buffet, and Breakfast was still in session.
I got some Smoked Salmon and some Grapefruit. I believe that this is
Grapefruit's Blog debut.
I went back for more, but apparently Lunch had broken out
while I was eating, so I grabbed a plate with some Jambalaya, Jerk Chicken and
an Okra and Tomato dish.
In my room, I had some other creature welcoming me. Maybe
it's a frog; maybe it is a creature. I don't know.
Before Dinner, I went to the Buffet and had some Defensive
Vegetables.
That's Okra, Spinach, and Broccoli.
We had 8 pm reservations at the French Restaurant. They
started us off with (I don't know what they called anything) some Salmon Mousse
with toast. I had two of them.
Next, Ed had the Cream of Mushroom Soup, and I had the
Scallops. I forgot to shoot the Scallops until after I had eaten one of them.
They were good, but they were small and there were only three.
It was a good thing that I also ordered Mussels. Between
them and the Scallops, I had a full Appetizer. They also brought us some
Asparagus.
Ed's main dish was Lamb Chops.
I can only assume that they were good; he didn't say a word
until they were gone. I had the Bolluabase for my Main Course.
That's Mussels, Shrimp, Fish Chunks, a few small Scallops, and Calamari in a tomato-based broth with a couple of Carrots and Potatoes.
No dessert for either of us.
My farewell creature was (I think) a Snake.
Hooray, jogging! Are you familiar with couch to 5k? It gets people who haven't run in, say, 40 years ready to run... slowly.
ReplyDeleteI would think that one lap around a cruise ship in 40 years is slow enough, even without an app.
DeleteBut I will Google it and see. Good luck with the phone.
