Pineapples are on sale this week at Publix, so I had a pre-cored Pineapple for Breakfast.
Later, I went to Loretta's house to hang out and then go to Dinner. She also shops at Publix, so there was Pineapple at her house. I had a few chunks of her Pineapple.
We decided to go to Dinner at Lima 51. She always wants Peruvian food when I return from Lima. There was a problem: I didn't charge my phone, so I couldn't use the flash, and I was only able to take one photo before it died.
For our Appetizers, I had an order of Anticuchos (marinated Beef Hearts) and Loretta had a Causa filled with Shrimp. The Anticuchos weren't as good as the ones I had a few days earlier, but well, you know. Loretta liked her Causa.
Loretta's Main Dish was Tacu Tacu with Pescado Saltado. In English, a Rice & Bean Patty topped with Stir-Fried Fish and Onions and Tomatoes. They do a good job of that, and she took home half for Sunday.
My Main Course was the Cebivhe Trio.
That's Cebiche in three different Sauces and an assortment for Fried Seafood (Jalea) on the bottom. I ate the Seafood and two of the Cebiches.
Sunday, December 8
For Breakfast, I had the third, leftover Cebiche from Saturday night.
It was good, but I really shouldn't eat Peruvian food here in Florida justa day or two after being in Peru.
Jeff and I went to Coral Gables to watch the Hurricanes practice for their Bowl Game at the end of the month, then took in the Basketball team's game.
I didn't eat anything at the arena, and then Jeff dropped me back home where I have been typing all night. I forgot to eat anything and didn't get hungry until about twenty minutes ago. I'm not going to eat and just call it a day.
