Larry and I were in Publix, ordering stuff for the office Christmas Party. The Deli lady knows me, and I guess she felt that I was looking a little, er, peaked, so she sliced off a couple of slices of Turkey and Cheese, one each for me & Larry.
That kept me going for a while.
After Weight Watchers, Lonnise and I went four doors down to TeeJay Sushi and Thai. We had gone there with some friends a few months back; Lonnise had the 'special' soup, and it had been calling me ever since.
We both ordered the "Lucky WonTon Soup."
It was certainly lucky for me because, you know, Soup. I finished mine and Lonnise took some home with her.
After that, I met up with Brent to watch the first half of the football game at the new Bokampers on Oakland Park and the Intracoastal. It is new, it is huge, and there had to be over 200 TVs there. Every seat has a great view of 65320672 games. I had their Secret Special Wings.
They claimed to be grilled and were just OK. That seemed to be the impression of everyone's food: Just OK. I would go back to watch games, but not as a food destination.
