I went to the Hurricanes basketball game today, and then I watched the Olympics.
When we first started going to Weight Watchers, our leader, Vivian did a class where she told us to "put some color in our food."
There's your color, Viv. More on this dish later.
For Breakfast today, I had the last Turkey Neg piece from Thursday night. It's better hot, it turns out.
Joe Robert, Jeff and I headed down to Coral Gables to watch the Hurricanes (try to) play basketball. We were early, so we went to The Rathskeller on campus. First impression: Great. They have big blow-ups of Sports Illustrated covers from the football glory days.
Sadly, the weekend menu didn't live up to the wall decorations. There wasn't a lot of point-friendly stuff, but I wound up ordering the Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich.
It was pretty horrible, but I doused it with Mustard and got it down. I passed on the Fries and had some Celery with it. The weekday menu has a couple of things that might not be bad, but I don't think that I will be going back there any time soon.
The 'Canes lost. When I got home, I had two Bowls of Watermelon.
A little later, I got out an Eggplant, Mushrooms, two cans of Diced Tomatoes, a can of String Beans, some Minced Garlic and Hot Sauce.
I cooked them up; you saw the finished product at the beginning of this post.
As I watched the Olympics, I ate some Frozen Grapes.
Here's today's FitBit Report.
