I got up really early (for a Saturday) to watch the USA-Russia hockey game. I'm glad that I did; the shootout was really exciting.
During the game, I broke out the remaining Smoked Turkey. I had one of the breasts left, so I hacked off some of it.
This is much, much better than anything you can buy at the Panther games. And cheaper. And the hockey was better.
After the game, I drove over to Loretta's house to pick her up & take her for Lunch. I let her pick, and she decided that she wanted a Lobster Roll. We headed all the way east to The Nauti Dawg in Lighthouse Point. They have the best Lobster Rolls, and my friend Chris is the Manager.
Loretta did, indeed, get the Lobster Roll. I was concerned that there would be too much Mayo to go with the Bread for my tastes, so I got the Turkey BLT on a Wheat Wrap, hold the Mayo.
I was wrong; there was very little Mayo on the Lobster Roll, and a whole boatload (trapload?) of Lobster. My Turkey BLT was also good, but not in the same league.
The Lobster Roll was so good, Loretta even felt compelled to offer me some. She was wallowing in its deliciousness, so I passed.
Later, at her house, she forced nine Frozen Grapes on me.
I stopped at WalMart on my way home and picked up some Watermelon, so the rest of the afternoon consisted of a Bowl of Watermelon, followed by another Bowl of Watermelon. Amazingly, the Watermelon cost more and didn't taste as good as what I get from Albertsons.
At around 8:00, I hacked up and finished off the rest of the Turkey with Mustard, and then at Midnight, I cut up two Grapefruits.
Here's my steps for the day. There weren't very many; the Olympics require a lot of sitting.
