Cruise Day 2: Hey Macarena!

Saturday, February 1
My invention of a food-based Wake-Up Service worked like a champ, as I received a phone call at 7:20 saying that my Breakfast was on the way.

It was really my pre-Breakfast, but the girl didn't need to know that. Two fruit Plates, Decaf Coiffee, and two Bananas to store in my room, just in case.

Then I did six laps on the Promenade deck to get my steps up early.

Ed and I had our real Breakfast after that. I had a plate with Lox and Honeydew and Pineapple, a Vegetable Egg-White Omelet, and more Lox.

Our 'port' today was the cruise line's private island. These islands always have BBQ, especially RIbs. I'm there.

We walked around for a while until Lunch was called. I had... Ribs.

Luckily, the Ribs were only so-so; I just had the one plate of them.

As we all know, too much is not enough, so at around 3:30, I had a Bowl of Chili.

Back on the boat, a little later, I went up to the Deli and got two Sandwiches and some Pizza.

One was a Cubano, the other was Turkey Salad. The Pizza was Vegetarfian, and still not that good.

I managed not to eat again until Dinner. The Appetizers weren't great. I had tiny Scallop Pieces swimming in Butter and two bowls of Lobster Bisque. And a Roll.

The Roll was the best of the bunch. I was very disappointed in the Bisque, because I love Soup. It didn't stop me from eating it.

Ed had a Shrimp Cocktail and Some sort of Cantaloupe and Honeydew thing.

For my Main Course, I ordered the Duck. I live Duck, maybe almost as much as Soup. In Spanish: Yo Amo Pato. The waiter told me that they were small, so I ordered two of them. They weren't.

It was very, very good. So was the second one.

Ed had the Shrimp Ravioli. He said it was good, too. The moral of the story is: Stick with the Main Courses on NCL.

Since it was Dress-Up night (we didn't), we also got the spectacle of the waiters dancing through the dining room. The video is a little dark, but it is short.

After Hot Hot Hot, they did the Macerana with the crowd. Here's a waiter dancing with the 24-girl Mexican Drunken Batchlorette Party that was sitting around us. This video is well-lit, but too short.

When I returned to my room, there was a Lame Towel Sting Ray on my bed.

Incredibly, that was it for the day. Hopefully, I will be less insane tomorrow.

Here's Saturday's FitBit count:
