Very exciting day... I haven't seen Maud since she and Austin moved to North Carolina at least 10 years ago! She's in town to do some visiting and our schedules worked out.
We met at Michael's Cafe on US1 and 62nd Street. I had never been there, but the Internet liked it and Karen Jean said it was great.
Great it is. For a Diner, fabulous.
Maud and I both had the Vegetable Omelet. I had mine with just Egg Whites, No Oil, No Cheese, with dry Wheat Toast and well-done Home Fries. She had a Bagel. They brought her Hash Browns, but she changed them for the Home Fries as well.
It was great seeing her; almost like it was 10 days, not 10 years. Hopefully, we're getting together again either Tuesday or Wednesday. The Omelets were wonderful, by the way. If you live in Broward County, you should go there.
When I got home, I had a Bowl of Watermelon.
Around 3:00, I nuked the leftover Yellow Squash and Broccoli from last night.
I'm not sure how well I would be doing on Weight Watchers if I didn't like Vegetables and Fruit so much.
Around 4:30, I broke out the rest of the Smoked Turkey, and ate it over the remainder of the day. I was all caveman-like.
It turned out that I did not finish the Turkey, but in between the Turkey carcass that I did eat, I had another Bowl of Watermelon, the Pineapple that Lonnise and I left over on Friday, and yet another Bowl of Pineapple.
