Monday: Back on Dry Land

Monday, January 6

We were still in the water, a little. We docked early, and my Room Service Wake Up Call was right on time.

It turned out that they were not going to let us off the boat until 10:30, so Denise, Patrick and I went to the dining room for Breakfast. The waiters are trained in making hte last day not suck, so the Bread Guy was all playful with us.

I had my standard Breakfast: Egg White Omelet with Vegetables. No Oil, no Cheese. I had dry Wheat Toast and no Potato. Denise had a more classic Omelet and Patrick had the French Toast.

While we were waiting to get off, I had two Bananas.

They went to the apartment to sleep; I went to the office. I still had some Turkey left from last week, so I had that for Lunch.

I woke Denise and Patrick up in time for Dinner. We went to the Mason Jar on US1. I started with the Onion Soup (much better than on the Ship), Patrick also had the Soup, and Denise had a Salad that Patrick ate most of.

For our Main Courses, I ordered what I always get there -- the Short Ribs with double Brussels Sprouts. Denise and Patrick both had the Chicken Pot Pie, in Phil's memory. He loved Chicken Pot Pie.

Somehow, I neglected to take a picture of the Short Ribs... it happens.
