2014 Day 2; Turkey Day 2

Thursday, January 2

A Bowl of Watermelon

I had a Wing and a Leg from the Turkey I made on Wednesday.

A little later, I had some Breast meat from the Bird.

Another Bowl of Watermelon, and I was good for the afternoon.

Loretta, Denise, Patrick and I went to Sunfish Grill for Dinner. This is my fourth time there... it's really good.

I started with a half order of the Spaghetti Bolognese with Tuna instead of Meat.

Loretta had the Crabmeat Appetizer (it is a great photo op, as well as delicious), Denise had the Calamari, and Patrick had the Tuna Tartare.

Every plate was licked clean.

For our Main Courses, I had the Scallops.
Loretta is thinking, "Hey! Scallops! Maybe he will go to the bathroom and I can grab one!"

They're served on a bed of some tiny, German Pasta and come with Grilled Brussels Sprouts. I've had this before; it's pretty freaking awesome.

Loretta and Patrick had the Swordfish, and Denise had the Veal served over Pasta.

Loretta really liked hers, but she was saving some room for Dessert, so I inherited some of her Swordfish.

For Desssert, I had: Nothing.

Not as militant, however, were the three of them. Loretta and Patrick stuck together again, and each of them had the Wonderful Chocolate Dessert, and Denise had the Blueberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Again, all plates were empty at the end. I highly recommend Sunfish Grill. They're a little pricey, but you walk out feeling like you've gotten your money's worth. And Loretta paid.

Later, at home, I cut up the rest of the Turkey for Friday, and I had some more while I watched Alabama get beat in the Sugar Bowl. Am I eating too much Turkey? Probably, but screw it; it's Turkey.
