Fun Day at Sea: Cruise Day 3

Sunday, January 5

It's a good thing that this is only three nights – I'm having a hard time rationalizing away today.

I did manage to put the correct room number on my Room Service slip – the Fruit was delivered right on time this morning.
I took a walk around the ship, and I discovered that the Whimsical Towel Creatures get some 'me time' and get to hang out by the pool early in the morning. It was quite the sight.
After hanging with the towels, I went to the Buffet for a bite.

That's two Hard-Boiled Eggs and some Fruit.

Patrick met me for Brunch. This is where it started getting dicey. I led off with some Tomato Soup.

For my Main Course(s), I ordered the Filet Mignon with Egg AND the Pork Chop. There was also a side of Corned Beef Hash. I had a golden opportunity to not eat the Hash because it was cold, but I ate it, too. At least I didn't eat anything from the Bread/Cake Basket; Patrick took care of that, along with his Omelet. He has also continued to improve at posing for Blog photos.

At halftime of the first playoff game, I ran up to the Lunch Buffet and got plates for me & Denise.

Mine had Pot Roast, Tomatoes stuffed with Squash, and Manhattan Clam Chowder. Denise had some Fish, a couple of Rolls, a Stuffed Tomato, and a Chocolate Ball.

During the first quarter of the second game, Denise went to the Tasting Place and got us – something.

It was a Fried Ball of Vegetables and some sort of Tiny Soup.

At halftime, I scored us Carbcakes, Fish and Vegetables. Just to tide us over until Dinner.
Again, there was a crowd for Dinner, so we didn't eat until around 9 pm. I started with two Crab Cakes, Denise had a Crabcake and Sushi, and Patrick had a Crabcake and Fruit.

Next up was French Onion Soup for me & Patrick.
For my Main Course, I had the Steak with some Eggplant from a different listing on the Menu. I gave Patrick the Potatoes.

Denise had the Pasta with Seafood, and Patrick had the Mahi Mahi.

The Servers proved that not only are the Towel Creatures whimsical on the ship, but they are, too.

For Dessert, I had: Nothing. Denise and Patrick each had the Chocolate Melting Cake with Ice Cream.

Finally, when I got back to my room, the Towel Elephant was waiting!
