For Breakfast this morning, I finished the rest of the Smoked Turkey. There was probably 8-10 ounces of breast meat left. It was wonderful from start to finish, and for $35 a real bargain, considering the number of meals I got out of it.
We weighed in at Weight Watchers today. I was back to where I was at the beginning of December -- before two trips to Peru, before the Cruise, before a big eating month and a half. This is a good program; I've learned a lot.
After the class, I met my friend Ted at Flanigans on Commercial Boulevard. I had the Full Rack of Ribs Joe's Meal Deal. They wanted to give me a Ceasar Salad, but I talked her into bringing me Lettuce, Tomato and Onion with a side of Fat-Free Tomato Dressing.
I ordered the Ribs with no Sauce. Of course they had Sauce (they looked good and I almost kept them), but they made me a new rack. I'm glad that I waited.
I substituted the Broccoli for a starch. They steamed it for me with no Oil or Butter. The Ribs were pretty good. The whole meal was $20, including the Soda, Salad and Main Course. Well worth it, and especially worth it when it turned out that it was Ted's turn to pick up the meal.
Ted had the Strip Steak with Broccoli and a Ceasar Salad.
Driving home, I stopped at Albertsons and picked up Watermelon and Pineapple. The Pineapple was on sale, so I celebrated by having a bowl in the car on the way home.
A little later, in the house, I had a Bowl of Watermelon. That's it!
