Halloween at the Sunfish Grille

Jim is the scariest person that I know, so I went to Dinner with him.

But first, I had some of the wonderful, jumbo, SEEDLESS Frozen Grapes that I bought at Albertsons on Wednesday night. I ate the whole bag throughout the day. I gave one or two away, but mostly I hoarded them for myself.

Then the Roach Coach lady came by, so I had another of her Fake Cebiches.

It was just as good as the one the other day, which is to say: Edible. And only $3.

Jim and I went to the Sunfish Grille on Oakland Park Boulevard. I had bought a Groupon last week, and the menu looked good.

They started us with some bread. In a stunning development, I had a piece.

My appetizer was Sauteed Calamari.

This was very good. It lad lots of Garlic, and the Calamari was not overcooked. And I drank the Broth as if it were Soup.

Jim had the Cream of Broccoli Soup.

For my main course, I made a last-minute change of plans and ordered the Diver Scallops.

These were wonderful. They were served with Grilled Brussels Sprouts and Bacon & Herb Spatzle. I didn't know what Spatzle was, but it is a small Pasta... almost like mini-Bow Ties.

We split an order of the Spaghetti Tuna Bolognaise as a side dish. The chef split it into two dishes; here's mine:

Delicious as well. Jim chose the Swordfish and Risotto for his dinner.

You have to agree that he is very scary.

Later, at home, I had some more Grapes.
