Football Saturday

It's a good thing that I have my priorities: Eat first; Football after.

The day started great. I was at the office, and Gordon told me that Jennifer was bringing food by, and she would pick up some Cebiche for me if I wanted.

Well, duh.

This was pretty good, and a great treat. She wasn't sure how hot I wanted it, so she brought me som (very) hot Salsa de Rocoto on the side, and I mixed in just a little.

Jennifer and Gordon had Chicken with Vegetables.

The Chicken looked like Chicken, but the Vegetables looked really good. I need to remember to find out where she got the food.

A good start, right? Then Virginia Tech (next week's opponent) got beat, and the Gators were losing. Excellent.

I was going to watch the Hurricanes game at Steve & Cindy's house. They were having some people over, and I volunteered to bring something with me. She suggested Wings.

I stopped at The Falcon Pub on University Drive to watch the second half of the Gators game and to pick up the food.Since I still had some time to kill, I settled in to eat and watch the second half of the Gators game.

Their daily soup was Sausage Gumbo.

I don't know what this had to do with Gumbo, but I love Soup, and this was pretty good. Probably a lot of points, though.

Since I was bringing Wings to the game, I needed to do Quality Control. I ordered my Wings Medium with Garlic.

Falcon Pub forces you to buy 20 Wings. Ten of them are $11, and twenty are $13. So I got twenty. They were pretty good, and I was enjoying the Gators' loss, so all was well. I bought 40 to take with me.

Steve and Cindy had a big spread at their house, but I was full, and I had football to watch. Despite how good everything looked (Wraps! Hummus!), I hit up the Vegetable tray.

That's Celery and Red Pepper. I had two plates of that; nothing else.

And it was a good thing, because the football game would ruined my appetite. The 'Canes got their asses handed to them.
