For **breakfast**, I had a Banana.
Later, at the office, I ate a bag of raw String Beans. Yuri brought in a Cucumber, Tomato and Onion salad, and she gave me one slice of cucumber.
That's Yuri's wrist! |
Last night, I prepared two containers of Roasted Vegetables to bring to the office (one per day). There was an Eggplant, Four Celery Stalks, three Sweet Potatoes, four (small) Regular Potatoes, Baby Carrots, a Green Pepper, a Red Pepper, two Onions, sliced Mushrooms, two Cubanelle Peppers, two small Jalapeno Peppers, three Yellow Squashes, two Zucchini Squashes, a bunch of Garlic Cloves, and two heads of Broccoli. That was for the two pans. I posted the 'before' photo yesterday; here's what it looked like after cooking:
I had about a third of them in a bowl. They were great, but I should have used more onions and mushrooms.
Later, a bowl of Watermelon.
At around 3:30, I had another bowl of the Vegetables.
That was it until game time. It got disgusting. The game, not the food. The food was OK.
Me, Jeff, Lonnise and Lyn watched the debacle at the Ale House on Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale.
I had the Prime Rib Special with Broccoli and Rice & Beans.
It was alright... can't complain. What was very impressive is what I didn't eat. I didn't order a greasy plate of bacon/cheese fries, and I didn't wash it down with two pieces of Ice Cream Cake; but it was close.
Lynn and Jeff had the Rib Eye Special. Lonnise had Conch Chowder. Here's Lyn making his blog debut with his steak, and then there's Jeff and dessert.
