Breakfast consisted of two Hard-Boiled Eggs and a bowl of Watermelon.
Albertson's had small Black Plumbs for $1.69 a pound. I had some in the refrigerator. Then I ate them.
Around noon, I had another bowl of Watermelon. And then a third one at 3:00 pm.
Cherie at the office read about my trip to the Grill at Calvary Chapel last week, and we wound up deciding to go there for Dinner tonight after work. She looked great today, but declined any photos for the blog.
To start, we shared the Bleu Strawberry Spinach Salad.
The Salad had Spinach, Strawberries, Walnuts, Cucumbers, and Bleu Cheese. It was tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was big enough for both of us, and really good.
Cherie selected the Loaded Macaroni & Cheese for her main dish.
The menu promised Penne Pasta, White Cheddar Cheese, Bacon and an crispy Panko topping. As you would suspect with anything involving White Cheddar and Bacon, it was a hit. Cherie ate and ate, and still had enough for Lunch tomorrow.
My main dish was the Surf 'n' Turf Stir-Fry.
This plate consisted of chunks of steak and a half dozen nice-sized shrimp with an assortment of Chinese Vegetables, served over Brown Rice. Unlike Cherie's Dinner, there was nothing left over when I was done. All of the dishes were more attractive in person; some days, I just don't get good shots.
We both passed on Dessert, but I had a decaf Cappuccino. The waitress even offered 1% milk without me having to ask.
All in all, a very good night. I again avoided bursting into flames in a church-related situation, Cherie didn't get singed from the fallout, we had an excellent dinner, and the waitress blessed us when we left. Cherie said that she would definitely return with other friends, and I go there whenever I remember. You have to very careful there if you're on a diet, but otherwise, it's always a great choice.
