Grapes may not be on sale any longer, but the Watermelon is reasonably-priced at Albertson's.
Three Bowls of Watermelon during the morning hours.
For Lunch, I broke out another Vat of Vegetable Soup. For today's protein, I added two Hard-Boiled Eggs - Peruvian style - to the Soup.
This Vat was kind of big; the Bobblehead could have gone swimming. |
It took a while, but I got it all down.
During the afternoon, more Watermelon.
BIG NEWS: As I was getting ready to leave, I found four more bags of Grapes in the office refrigerator. When I had bought them, there were too many in the freezer. So I'm good for a little while longer.
Loretta and I had plans for Dinner tonight. I had told her that it was Soup Week, and I needed to be somewhere for Soup. She could have anything she wanted, I told her, but it was Soup for me.
She's a good sport, and when I got to her house, she suggested that we go to the Whole Foods Supermarket on University Drive in Coral Springs. We both like their Cioppino, and this one has a very nice sitting area.
The Cioppino is -- as close as I can describe --a Manhattan Clam Chowder, except with pieces of Fish instead of Clams. It's Tomato-based, and most of the Vegetables are the same. It has a little kick to it, but not too much.
I had a large, and Loretta went for the small portion.
When we were walking through the store, they had a lot of sampling stations open. I accepted a piece of Pork with Kale. I'm not sure why they were trying to ruin a perfectly good piece of Pork, but I trudged through.
I took one small bite before I remembered to take a photo. |
