Independence Day - No Cows Were Blown Up (or Eaten)

Friday, July 4

Remember, I'm blaming Ed for all of this. For those of you who wrote in to say that I'm a grown adult and have control of what I put into my mouth, I say, "Go watch Game of Thrones."

I went with Linda to pick up some stuff at Publix in the morning. On the way back, we passed a stand with Fresh Georgia Peaches. We bought a bag, and I ate two when we got back to the house. They were delicious.

Then I had some more of the remaining Strawberries from yesterday.

After that, I nuked a bag of Brussels Sprouts. I am officially on a Brussels Sprouts kick, I suppose. These were not is any 'sauce,' so I just added some Spices. After that, I had two more Peaches.

Ed puts out quite a spread at his parties. I passed on the first Official Eating Period, but I had some Roast Pork and some Pulled Pork during the second. These pictures are the Roast Pork; I had two plates of that and just one of the Pulled variety.

Then, because it was a holiday, Frozen Grapes.

Then, because it was a holiday, I cut up a huge Watermelon.

It was delicious; I had lots of help with the Watermelon.

During the fifth Eating Period, Gordon was working the grill. Jennifer just likes taking Blog Photos.

He made some stuff without Sauce. I had the Chicken Breast on the bottom left of the top photo, and three Chicken Legs and one Rib as well.

I capped that off with one Sausage.

That was it, except for a few more Strawberries.

That was it. As promised, no Cows were ingested by me. We did blow a lot of stuff up; none of it was bovine. We had a fun time. And I still blame Ed.

Here's my steps. I played Volleyball, so I have no idea how I only had four active minutes.
