A Bowl of Watermelon.
For Lunch, I nuked up a bunch of Asparagus and Some Brussels Sprouts.
Larry had a couple of the Asparagus, but I ate most of the plate.
On the way home, I picked up some stuff at Albertsons, and stopped at the Oakland Park Framer's Market. They have it every Tuesday, and I usually remember on Wednesdays.
It was my first time there, and I was very impressed. Just one Vegetable stand, but there were a lot of interesting booths, and most of it seemed pretty healthy.
At one booth, there was a Surprise Cooking Demonstration being given by Lenore Nolan-Ryan. She has a catering place and Cooking School all the way East on Commercial Blvd., and she was making some sort of Snapper with Rice. I passed by just in time for a sample.
It was pretty good, and I considered hanging around for the Shrimp Demonstration, but I wanted to check out the other booths and get home for Dinner. The market does cooking demonstrations the first Tuesday of every month... this was just a bonus appearance.
When I got home, I settled down to another Bowl of Watermelon before getting to the cooking.
I had bought some Catfish at Albertsons. First, I heated up the leftover Black Bean Bok Choy from yesterday, and then I added the Fish to cook.
It was delicious, so I ate the other piece and the rest of the Vegetables while I watched Rachael's Bradway Debut on Glee.
Later on, I cut up half the Watermelon that I bought at Albertsons ($3).
That was it for the day. Here's my steps.
