Hot & Soul!

Wednesday, April 16

It was a Frozen Fruit Celebration during the day:

Frozen Banana.

Bowl of Watermelon (not frozen). Another Bowl of Watermelon (still not frozen).

Frozen Banana. And again... Frozen Banana.

Frozen Grapes. Frozen Grapes. Frozen Grapes.

Fiske and I were going to meet Marc for Dinner after he got out of class, so we were eating late. To tide myself over, I had some of the Cabbage that I made the other day.

We got to Hot & Soul on Oakland Park and US1 at around 9:30. It was late; we were hungry and we ordered quickly.

I started with the small portion of the Gumbo, and Fiske got a Salad.

For our Main Courses, I ordered the Steak and both Marc and Fiske got the small order of Chicken Adobo.

My Steak (and even the Fries!!!) were good, and their house-made Mustard was wonderful. Marc and Fiske thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. Marc liked his so much, he ordered a second go-round.

We passed on Dessert. I don't go to Hot & Soul enough, and I don't know why... they're close by, the food is very good, the prices are fair, and I like patronizing small businesses. I need to work on that defect.

That was it for the day. Here's my steps.
