Watermelon! And Pho!

Wednesday, April 23

I had bought two whole Watermelons when they were on sale the other day and had left one at the office. I broke it out and got to work.

Half the cut-up Watermelon looked like this:

A little later, I had the other half. It looked remarkably similar.

As if that wasn't enough, I had an Albertson's bowl, too, when I got home.

Joe Robert, Lonnise and I went to the Noodle House on State Road 7 for Dinner. We started with the Summer Rolls.

We each had one. Joe Robert showed off his Chopsticks ability. Lonnise took the extra one home for Lunch tomorrow.

For our Main Courses, Lonnise and I had Pho; Mine was mixed Stuff (Pork, fake Crab, Shrimp, Fish Balls, etc.), and Lonnise had Pork and Shrimp. Joe Robert had a Pork Chop.

He said the the Pork Chop was good. The Soups were as excellent as they always are.

When I got home, I cut up the half Watermelon that was left from Tuesday.

It's a good thing that I like Watermelon.

Around 11:00, I was hungry, so I opened a can of Salmon and got to work.

I used a little of the water in the Salmon can as well as some of the Mustard, and it came out better (less dry) than it did last week. This really calls out for Mayo, but I am confident that I will come up with an acceptable solution. It was good with the Pepper Rings.

That's it for the day. Here's my steps.
