LIMA DAY 1: Dinner in the Nick of Time

March 8, 2017

My plane got in late, so by the time I made it to the apartment, I had to rush to get to Punto Azul before they closed... just made it.

I enjoyed my regular 'welcome' meal -- Ceviche Punto Azul (Fish Chunks in a Red Sauce, as opposed to the classic dish), and Grilled Octopus - Pulpo a la Parilla.

Somehow, they found an Octopus with five tentacles. Four, I would understand. Maybe they were just happy that I was back in town.

Then, off to bed.

  1. What is that drink next to the chifles?
    How chewy were the tentacles?

    1. That was lime juice for my Agua con Gas.

It wasn't the best Pulpo ever, but when you have gone since December 22 without any, it was good enough. Panchita makes a nice Anticucho de Pulpo, if you want my opinion.
