Paella at Cafe Seville!

Tuesday, June 17

A Bowl of Watermelon.

For Lunch, I nuked up theCatfish and Vegetables that I made for Dinner on Monday night. I planned ahead, and made enough for a Lunch, too.

It was every bit as delicious as on Monday.

Two more Bowls of Watermelon.

I was having Dinner with Loretta tonight. We were going to go to Barracuda Bar in Deerfield Beach, but when Brazil didn't win their World Cup game that afternoon, we decided that it wasn't in our best interests to go to a Brazilian Restaurant that night. Instead, we went to a Spanish place, Cafe Seville on Oakland Park Boulevard.

Let me get to the Money Shot Right away... Loretta and I split a beautiful Seafood Paella.

For our Appetizers, I had Calamaris Rellenos. These were whole Calamaris, stuffed with a mixture of Shrimp, Scallop, more Calamari, Bread Crumbs, and probably other stuff I don't remember, and spices. I also had a Sausage. It had a whole long name, but it was a Sausage.

The Calamari was very good. The filling could have used a little more spice, but that's just a quibble. I had two and a half of them; Loretta had the other piece. I finished the whole Sausage. It was delicious, but didn't seem to be nearly enough for the price.

Loretta had a 'Cazuelita' of Scallops and Mushrooms in a creamy Garlic and Sherry Sauce. I tasted a little, and it was very good, too. She used her Bread to soak up all the Sauce.

They split the Paella for us. We each had a plate like the one below, plus I had another plate (maybe half full) with Paella that didn't make it onto our initial serving.

It was pretty fantastic, too.

We both passed on Coffee and Dessert.

That was it for me. Here's my steps.
