Benihaha... Ed Cooks!

Frozen Grapes. Lots of them.

Two Christmases ago, Larry and I chipped in to buy Ed a "You Be the Chef" experience at Benihana. Just 17 months later, we finally got everyone on the same page and were ready to go.

I went with Ed in the afternoon to watch and film his training. Cesar (a real Benihana Chef) did the training.

The beauty of the 'training class' was that they had to use real food. So, as a result, we got a free Lunch out of the deal!


We re-convened at 6 pm for Dinner. Me, Ed, Larry & Leslie, and Randy & Kristen. They gave us our own table, and we got the full Benihana treatment, including Soup and Salad.




Then Ed made his entrance, all decked out in Benihana garb. He made us our Fried Rice, Appetizer, and Steak & Shrimp Dinner.






It was all Benihana quality, and we had a great time watching Ed do the work. For his big finish, he did the signature Shrimp Flip. If you're reading this in your email, it is worth clicking through to the web site to watch the video... it's only 15 seconds.
