I'm leaving in a few minutes to help start loading the truck for the Kids' Christmas party, so today's report is going to be long on photos and short on words...
Pre-Breakfast/Breakfast: Ceviche from a Street Kiosk, an a Chicharron (Fried Pork) Sandwich from the Surquillo Weekend Food Festival.
Next, a Cafe con Leche from San Antonio. I ate the little Cookie that came with it.
Two of those delicious, little, 30 cent Chocolate Cake-y things from one of the Empanada Stores that I like.
A Raspadilla (Snow Cone to us Americans) from Raspadillas Mina in Surco.
For Dinner, I went to Fiesta Gourmet. They have Northern Peruvian food. They started me with a piece of toast with some unidentifiable stuff on top, with a TINY Fried Egg on top of that.
As I may have mentioned, I love Duck. Fiesta has Duck. They have one less order of Duck.
That was it, I thought. But Casino New York has a buffet at 11:00 pm on Saturdays for the Table Game players. I got there at 10:50. They had a lot of stuff that looked good, but they had Rocoto Rellenos and Cebiche de Conchas Negras. I am legally bound to eat all of those that I am offered, so there you have it.
And then, THAT was it for the day.
