Fork & Balls

Wednesday, February 11

On the way to work, Bananas and Grapes. They are $1.68 a pound at Albertsons.

At the office, some Frozen Grapes.

Larry, Jeff and I went to Sweet Tomatoes for Lunch. They had the Crazy Meatball Soup, so I went Crazy. I only used two of the little things of Dressing.

Later, more Frozen Grapes.

I met Phyllis for Dinner. We piled into my car and headed to Fork & Balls on Las Olas -- they sent me a coupon.

Aside from the great name, they specialize in Meatballs. For our Appetizers, I had Spicy Pork Meatballs with a Mushroom Sauce, and Phyllis proved that she would not be Pushed Around By Corporate America and had the Fried Calamri.

The Meatballs were good. I wasn't a big fan of the Mushroom Gravy, but it tasted exactly like Mushroom Gravy, so go figure. Phyllis loved her Calamari.

For our Main Courses, I had the 'Grandma Bowl' -- House Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce with a little Mozzarella Cheese, over Whole Wheat Pasta (I changed from the regular Spaghetti). In a surprise move, Phyllis had the Quinoa Kale 'Meat'balls in a Coconut Curry Sauce.

I thought the food there was OK. If someone suggested going there, I would agree, but I wouldn't offer it up myself.

Here's my steps.
