I think this photo says it all:
I defrosted my last Turkey over the weekend. The sales start next week, and I had to make room. I cleaned, injected and spiced the Bird at Lunch time, and left it to roast.
I got home around 8:15. The house smelled great, so I broke out the Neck.
At that point, I made a crucial error. I had forgotten to lock my door, so Sergio let himself into the house. Her was there for the Turkey unveiling.
I started carving, and since I apparently now had a guest for Dinner, I made Sergio a plate and one for myself. He really likes being in blog photos.
He did bring a Bowl of Watermelon, so I had that to cleanse my palate after the plate of Turkey.
After he left at halftime of the football game, I made myself another plate.
Later, I parceled the rest into bags to have later in the week. When I was done with that, I gnawed on the bones like I was Henry the 8th.
That's it for the day. Here's my steps.
