Saturday, November 1
A Hurricanes home game, of course. I wait all year for those seven, four-hour windows.
There's only one way go get in top shape for a football game: Eat a Giant Sub. We stopped at the Sub Center on the way to the stadium, and I got my standard pre-game Sandwich.
That's a 12" Wheat Sub with the Bread ripped out a little, lots of Mustard, Turkey, no Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, Red Onions, Banana Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, Green peppers and Hot Sauce. I did it up good before we went inside to watch the Hurricanes beat down the Tar Heels, 47-20. Glorious.
At home, to celebrate, I first had a Bowl of Watermelon and then went to work on a grand old collection of Turkey Necks. I defrosted them in the sink, while I heated up all the ingredients for Turkey Neck Stew.
I watched games the rest of the day while scarfing down the collection of Necks.
What a glorious day. Here's my steps.
Sunday, November 2
A Pineapple. They were still on sale at Publix.
Frozen Grapes.
Much later, for Dinner, I wasn't really hungry, but I had a bag of Pink Salmon to get some protein into my body.
Here's Sunday's steps.
