Jeff and (maybe) some other people were coming over in the evening to watch the Hurricanes game. I offered to make Wings, so I stocked up big time.
But before that, I had some Catfish for Lunch.
This was the Biggest Honking Catfish Filet I have ever purchased. The plate was half of the filet. Don't fret -- I had the whole thing over the course of the day.
It turned out that only Jeff came over for the game. I prepared three types of Wings:
- Plain (for Jeff). I just sprinkled a little Garlic Powder on them.
- Buffalo. I toss the Wings win a bag with Ricky's Hot Sauce, Garlic Powder and Onion Flakes.
- My new creation. I used two packages of Weber Black Pepper Marinade Mix and followed the instructions, mixing it with Oil, Water, and a little bit of Vinegar.
I also put those in a heavy-duty ziploc bag, shook it all to mix, and let it sit for a few hours to marinate. I then put them on a tray and baked.
40 minutes at 450 degrees, and bam!
They were great. I had another plate of them in the second half, and Jeff enjoyed his Chicken, too.

Caleb and I had tickets for the Heat game at 6:00 pm. Caleb doesn't like Wings, and I am too cheap to eat arena food, so I broke out some more of the Wing Inventory.
While they were cooking, I ate the few pieces that Jeff didn't finish last night.
The first batch was the Buffalo Style, and my second set was more of the Black Peppercorn.
That was it for me for the day. The Heat won, so we had a great time. Caleb had a blast (it was his first game). He had McDonalds on the way, Fries at the game, and Pizza after.

Nothing during the day... I had to weigh in, and I didn't need to be adding to the problem.
After Weight Watchers, I bought some Watermelon at Albertsons, and headed home to cook the rest of the Wings.
I had a Bowl of Watermelon while they were cooking. I left my camera at the office, so all I have is cell phone photos of the Wings.
I really liked the Black Peppercorn Marinade; I will do that again.
Here's my steps for the three days... Saturday: 7,407; Sunday: 11,030; and Monday: 6,805.
