Also, Soup Week II: Day 6. More importantly, a Hurricanes Home Game.
The Hurricanes had a game at 3:30, so I couldn't concentrate on Food in the morning, what with the game and a Sub coming up. I ate Frozen Grapes.
D'Angelo and I headed to the game early. Jeff was going to meet us there, and Joe Robert was in Orlando, and Brent bailed on us. We stopped, as always, at Sub Center to gear up. My regular Sub Girl was there, and she got to work.
At the stadium, we chowed down.
Mine was my regular: Turkey Breast, no Cheese, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Pickles, Three different Peppers, Hot Sauce, and more Mustard. All of it on a Whole Wheat Sub, with the Bread hollowed out, to allow for more Mustard. She does a great job on my Sub. D'Angelo had a Cheesesteak. It turned out that Jeff was 10 minutes behind us; the folks at the Sub Center told him he was late.
The Hurricanes won 41-20. Delightful.
For Soup Week Saturday, I broke out three cans back at the house.
I did two cans of Light Vegetable, and a can of Savory Vegetable Barley. 10 Points for the whole thing, and no discussion of Sodium.
Later, while watching the late games, some more Frozen Grapes.
Here's my steps.
