Half a Watermelon.
For some daytime protein, I had 10 ounces of sliced Turkey Breast Roll-Ups.
The rest of the afternoon... Frozen Grapes. They remain 99 cents per pound.
Lonnise and I went to Calder Race Course and Casino to check it out. And check it out we did. They have three eating areas, but the safest (and most dangerous!) was the Buffet. It was $15, so we weren't going hog-wild.
For my first trip, I had some Ribs, Catfish and because I am on a diet, Vegetables. Lonnise had some stuff, too.
We did the $10 for two Lobster Tails upgrade and split them. Our waitress, Ira, was happy to pose for the Blog.
We both got some more stuff. You will notice that Lonnise is better than I am at taking small amounts of things.
Then I discovered the Grill Guy. He made me Steak, Tuna and Sausage. He liked posing for photos, too.
The Turkey in the middle picture was from the Carving station.
We both had Fruit for Dessert, and then because it was the weekend, we went wild and had Coffee at the Bar.
That was it. The Buffet was good for the price. I would recommend it. Just stay away from the Slot Machines. Here's my steps.
