Turkey Neck Tuesday

Tuesday, May 20

Well, the party's over. Back to normal.

A Bowl of Watermelon. Another Bowl of Watermelon (by the way, Watermelon is on sale at Albertsons).

Another Bowl of Watermelon.

Along with the Watermelon, the cashier at the supermarket talked me into the Strawberries, and the Oranges looked good, too. Next, I had the container of Strawberries.

After yet another Bowl of Watermelon, I broke out the two Oranges.

One was delicious, but the other was rotten, so just the one Orange. I made up for it by having a fifth Bowl of Watermelon.

On the way home, I stopped at Andrews Meat Market and picked up some Turkey Necks. I went Old School by putting them in a large Ziploc bag, coating them in a little Oil, then adding Garlic Powder, Kickin' Chicken seasoning, Onion Flakes and some Hot Sauce. I then heated the oven to 435, put them on a rack, and cooked them for an hour and 15 minutes.

Bu using the rack, I avoid all that drip-off.

That's it for the day. Here's my steps. It's 10:30 pm, so there will be a few more by bedtime.
