Monday & Phyllis' Big Night Out on Tuesday

Monday, January 19

For my farewell Breakfast on the Boat, I had two Egg White Omelets with Mushrooms and Onions, with Rye Toast. Ed was still full from Sunday, so he just watched.

It was a good cruise; Carnival does a good job.

For Lunch, back on dry land, Edwar and I were running errands, so we stopped at Las Colinas for Lunch. I had the Cubano Sandwich, and Edwar had a Ropa Vieja Sandwich. Both were Very Good. I helped him with his Fries. We were happy.

I wasn't going to have Dinner, but then I got hungry. I rummaged around my Freezer and found a package of Calamari. I made Calamri Fra Diavlo, more or less.

It was enough to fill me up. So that was it for the day. Here's my steps.

Tuesday, January 20

My friend Phyllis likes to eat. One night, at The Ark in Hollywood, she ate Boyd and me under the table, and laughed at us the whole way home. And she's only 5 feet tall and doesn't weigh all that much.

But I digress. The point is, we had Dinner plans, and I knew she would enjoy herself at Texas de Brazil... she had never been there.

First, I had to muddle through the day. I limited myself to a bunch of Bananas and some Oranges.

Then, on to Texas de Brazil. I had a coupon, so it was half price.

We started with the Salad Bar and the Soup. Luckily, the Soup of the Day was Lobster Bisque.

The Soup of the Day is always Lobster Bisque. But they make a big deal out of it, so we play along. Then, the Meat came. Phyllis never lived through such a wealth of Meat -- we both had a really good time.

I would describe it all, but you know... it was Meat. We had a great time. Neither of us was incapacitated, but she took a classic "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" photo at the end.

We both had a great time, and she takes a mean Blog Photo. I don't get to hang with Phyllis very much, but we both promised to coordinate our schedules better.

Not surprisingly, I had nothing else the rest of the night. Here's my steps.
