Thursday, October 23
Still couldn't find my camera.
It's Game Day. It's Thursday, so we didn't have to wait until Saturday. Perfect.
With a game that day, I have to watch what I was eating. So...
A Bowl of Watermelon. Another Bowl of Watermelon.
And then, just to be different, A Bowl of Watermelon.
It was a road game, so Brent, Jeff and I met up at Shenanigans Sports Pub in Hollywood. Jeff and I decided that we should do our best to frequent them for road games.
I had a Turkey Club Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries and a little of what they call Pasta Salad. Brent had Wings, and Jeff had a Ribeye Sandwich. My camera was missing, so here's the crappy photos from my cell phone.
The 'Canes kicked the Hokies' butts. What a wonderful day.
Here's my steps.

Wednesday, October 22
My camera was missing for a couple of days... I only have crappy phone photos (when I remembered to even take those).
A Bowl of Watermelon.
For Lunch, my notes said "Soup." I have no idea what Soup or where I had such Soup, but I must have had some Soup.
Another Bowl of Watermelon.
Lonnise and I went to Dinner at Viva Chile Lindo on State Road 7 near the Hard Rock.
We Both had Chicken Empanadas and Pastel de Choclo.
I finished mine; Lonnise took half hers home.
That was it. Here's my steps.

Tuesday: Texas de Brazil
Tuesday, October 21
A Bowl of Watermelon. Another Bowl of Watermelon.
In the afternoon, yet another Bowl of Watermelon.
There's a good way to get me to come to your restaurant:
1. Have a restaurant.
However, there's a great way to get me to come to your restaurant:
1. Send me a coupon.
So, I guess that Texas de Brazil cracked the code, because they sent me a half-price coupon good until the end of November.
I went, and it was as always. Luckily, the Soup of the Day was Lobster Bisque.
Then, a trip to the Salad Bar.
You've got Shrimps, Smoked Salmon Chunks, Prosciutto, Salami and Parmesan Cheese. Not a green item in the bunch.
Then the Meats came.
All kinds of different Steak, some Pork, some Lamb Chops, some Filet wrapped in Bacon, and the like. Then, I was finally able to convince them that I liked my Meat rare.
Fabulous. That went on for quite a while, once they got the hang of 'rare' Meat. Finally, I waddled home, having saved twenty three bucks.
Here's my steps.

Travel Day
Monday, October 20
Loretta and I checked out of the hotel and headed to the airport. I did not have Breakfast before we left at noon.
JFK International has a lot of nicer places to eat than many other airports I have visited. We chose an Asian place for Lunch.
I started with Chicken Wings and followed up with a Pho-like Pork Soup. Loretta had Udon Noodle Soup with Tempura Shrimp.
It was better than normal airport food, but I wouldn't fly there specifically to eat there.
On the flight, I had a one ounce bag of pretzels.
Finally at home, I heated up three cans of Soup. Loretta wanted to go out, but I was pretty tired.
That's it for the day. Here's my steps.

New York Day 4: Random Asian, Filipino Food, and Spain Restaurant
Sunday, October 19
Here's a great picture. Just wanted to put it up top.
I went to Great Neck to visit a friend in the morning. Walking from the train station, I saw an Asian Bakery.
I went in and had some "Pizza Bread" and some sort of Ham & Cheese roll-up thingamabob with Coffee.
At my friend's house, I had a Black & White Cookie.
On the way back, I changed trains in Woodside and found myself in Little Manilla, so I went to a Filipino restaurant, Renee's Kitchen.
I had Mussel Soup, Chicken Adobo, and a stick of Spicy BarBQue Pork.
Fabulous. Twenty bucks well-spent. You don't see a lot of Filipino restaurants in Fort Lauderdale.
For Dinner, Loretta and I met Michael and Debbie for Dinner at Spain Restaurant. Yes, twice this trip... twice.
We started with the free stuff.
They no loner give away the Lamb Ribs, so we (by 'we', I mean 'I') bought some.
Debbie is a Vegan, so she had Gaspacho, Salad and Potatoes.
The rest of us aren't as picky. For our Appetizer, we started with the Pork in Almond Sauce. Michael was very excited.
For our Main Courses, we shared Gambas al Ajillo (Shrimps with Garlic), Paella and MAriscada in Green Sauce. If this all sounds familiar, it is. It's what I always buy there. They bring Rice and Potatoes with everything, too.
It was all delicious, and everyone behaved around Loretta. And cheap, four four people with too much food and some drinks.
I promised Michael and Debbie that I would think about going somewhere else on my next visit. But we will probably wind up at Spain again.

NY Pizza Festival: Day 3. And the Wedding
Saturday, October 18
Loretta and I went to the supermarket for Breakfast. They have really, really nice Supermarkets in New York.
In honor of the Pizza Festival, Loretta had a Flatbread Vegetable Pizza.
I **thought** that I was having Buffalo Chicken Pizza, but it turned out to be a round Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I took off the top and made believe that it was an odd Pizza. We also split a Spinach Thingamabob.
That was it until the wedding.
The wedding was really nice. It was on the roof of the hotel, so the views were more spectacular than from our room. I will put some of the pictures below.
There were passed Appetizers. We had Lobster Rolls, Baslls of Something, Mini Hamburgers, Mini Barbeque Sandwiches, Mini Flatbread Pizzas (Pizza!), Lamb Chops, Fish Tacos, and lots of other stuff wandering around on trays being carried by well-dressed waiters. Here's some of them.
Then, for Dinner, there was a Salad, and your choice of Main Dish. I had the Steak, and Loretta chose the Salmon. There were Surprise Gourmet Rice Krispy Treats on the Bar. It turns out that Gourmet Rice Krispy Treats are a thing now. Cupcakes are out; Rice Krispy Treats are in. I passed on the Cake and Chocolate thing for Dessert because, wel, that would be too many points.
That was if for food for the day. Here's a bunch of random Wedding photos, for all you random Wedding photo fans, then my steps.
