I started off the day with two slices of Turkey. Breakfast and Protein, all in one place!
Later on, I had some more Turkey. I had the whole bag, except for the small tastes Lonnise and Viv took.
Later, when I thought I was done eating for the day, it turned out that I was wrong. I had Surprise Pho.
Oh, and Summer Rolls. The Soup was standard Pho with Brisket and Roast Beef.
OK, it was good, really good. So good, I wanted more.
If you think I'm embarrassed to report this, imagine how I felt when I asked for ANOTHER Soup. Yes, another. I got it to go. I took it home, and ate it. A World Soup Record!
Anyway, it could have been worse. Not sure how, but it could have been. Here's my steps.

Sunday!
Sunday, June 22
Frozen Grapes for Breakfast. And then for a snack. And then some more. The girl at Save A Lot asked me if I was buying them for re-sale.
Caleb and I hung out at my pool for a while. He likes pools. So do I... I just don't do it often enough.
After a while, we were hungry. We went back to my house to have some Turkey (me) and some Mac and Cheese (Caleb).
It was nice to get some protein in me. Man does not live by Grapes alone.
But I did my best to try, and had lots of Frozen Grapes the rest of the day.
Long Live 99 cent Grapes! Here's my steps.

Benihaha... Ed Cooks!
Saturday, June 21
Frozen Grapes. Lots of them.
Two Christmases ago, Larry and I chipped in to buy Ed a "You Be the Chef" experience at Benihana. Just 17 months later, we finally got everyone on the same page and were ready to go.
I went with Ed in the afternoon to watch and film his training. Cesar (a real Benihana Chef) did the training.
The beauty of the 'training class' was that they had to use real food. So, as a result, we got a free Lunch out of the deal!
We re-convened at 6 pm for Dinner. Me, Ed, Larry & Leslie, and Randy & Kristen. They gave us our own table, and we got the full Benihana treatment, including Soup and Salad.
Then Ed made his entrance, all decked out in Benihana garb. He made us our Fried Rice, Appetizer, and Steak & Shrimp Dinner.
It was all Benihana quality, and we had a great time watching Ed do the work. For his big finish, he did the signature Shrimp Flip. If you're reading this in your email, it is worth clicking through to the web site to watch the video... it's only 15 seconds.
Here's our Team Photo after the meal. We had a great time; Ed still has all his fingers. If you're ever looking for a unique and fun gift, remember Benihana.
Later, I had some Strawberries, and then Grapes the rest of the night.
Here's my steps for the day.

Turkey!
Thursday, June 19
Frozen Grapes. More Frozen Grapes. Just for kicks, some more Frozen Grapes.
Frozen Grapes pretty much all day long. Lots of them.
Grapes are on sale at Save A Lot for 99 cents per pound. That explains a lot.
I had been defrosting a Turkey for a few days; it was ready. I unwrapped it and prepped it, using just some mixed Spices and Garlic powder.
While it was cooking, I opened a can of Sauerkraut and heated it up. It's a big Turkey, and I didn't want to wait four and a half hours without eating anything.
Finally, the Turkey was done. While it cooled, I feasted on the Turkey Neck.
I then got to slicing. I had two plates.
A little later, I carved the rest of the Bird and packaged it into separate meals for the weekend.
At around midnight, I had a few Frozen Grapes in bed. Really -- just a few.

Wednesday Pho Day!
Wednesday, June 19
GRAPES ARE 99 CENTS PER POUND AT SAVE A LOT!
Sorry... I had to shout.
Frozen Grapes.
More Frozen Grapes.
A Bowl of Watermelon, and then More Frozen Grapes.
Lonnise and I went to The Noodle House on US 441 for Dinner.
We love it there. There's hardly ever any customers, so I hope that the place is a front for something else, so they stay open. We got our standard Dishes: Pork Broth with Vermicelli Noodles. I got the one with Pork and Won Tons, and Lonnise gets Shrimp and Pork. Regular size (giant) for Lonnise, and Extra Large (humongous) for me.
In news that will shock no one, I finished all of mine, and Lonnise took some of hers home. Only common sense stopped me from ordering some Duck Plate that was advertised on one of their signs.
Later that night, I heated up the remaining Vegetables that I had prepared on Monday night.
That's it... here's my steps. I was 30 short.

Paella at Cafe Seville!
Tuesday, June 17
A Bowl of Watermelon.
For Lunch, I nuked up theCatfish and Vegetables that I made for Dinner on Monday night. I planned ahead, and made enough for a Lunch, too.
It was every bit as delicious as on Monday.
Two more Bowls of Watermelon.
I was having Dinner with Loretta tonight. We were going to go to Barracuda Bar in Deerfield Beach, but when Brazil didn't win their World Cup game that afternoon, we decided that it wasn't in our best interests to go to a Brazilian Restaurant that night. Instead, we went to a Spanish place, Cafe Seville on Oakland Park Boulevard.
Let me get to the Money Shot Right away... Loretta and I split a beautiful Seafood Paella.
For our Appetizers, I had Calamaris Rellenos. These were whole Calamaris, stuffed with a mixture of Shrimp, Scallop, more Calamari, Bread Crumbs, and probably other stuff I don't remember, and spices. I also had a Sausage. It had a whole long name, but it was a Sausage.
The Calamari was very good. The filling could have used a little more spice, but that's just a quibble. I had two and a half of them; Loretta had the other piece. I finished the whole Sausage. It was delicious, but didn't seem to be nearly enough for the price.
Loretta had a 'Cazuelita' of Scallops and Mushrooms in a creamy Garlic and Sherry Sauce. I tasted a little, and it was very good, too. She used her Bread to soak up all the Sauce.
They split the Paella for us. We each had a plate like the one below, plus I had another plate (maybe half full) with Paella that didn't make it onto our initial serving.
It was pretty fantastic, too.
We both passed on Coffee and Dessert.
That was it for me. Here's my steps.
