Good afternoon everyone. It’s August, and yes, those are
Christmas Bells you hear!
Every year - around Christmas time - I join a group of
Peruvians to take a big Christmas Party to a group of kids in a really poor
neighborhood about an hour and a half outside of Lima, Peru.
We show up and the kids get Cake, Candy, Chocolate Milk
(it’s summer in December down there), a show, a wrapped present and each one
receive a book to read as well. Everybody (grownups and kids) has a great time
and we get lots (LOTS) of tiny little smiles. A ton of them. I am attaching
photos from last year’s party. The party this year is Saturday, December 14.
How can you help, you ask? First (and best) would be to join
me in Lima for the party. Hit me up if you want to know about travel or housing
or restaurants or anything. If you can’t make it, well, we could use your
money. Any amount of it. American dollars go a long way down there, and I will
make sure that it gets used efficiently. You can paypal any donation to me at:

on a street corner for the drop, or whatever. I will pick up the cost of any
paypal fees, so 100% of your money will go to the kids.
There are many different ways that people give back; helping
out these kids is no better or worse than any other. If you have any room in
your budget – any amount of room – I assure you that you will be paid back ten

I will be there in less than two weeks, and we want to buy
the books when I am there this trip, so that’s why you’re seeing this request
